Social media that's actually about the people you love.
Research shows as few as 1 in 5 posts in a typical social media feed is actually from someone you know. The rest? Ads, strangers, and brand content you never asked for. SharedLife gives you back a feed that's 100% yours.
Families & friends are already on the waitlist
Open any social media app. Scroll 10 posts. Count the ones actually from people you know.
Here's what a typical social media feed looks like today:
↑ A representative example of a typical social media feed scroll. 7 were ads or strangers. 2 were from people you know. 1 you never asked for. That's what your feed became.

People don't leave social media because of features. They leave because it stopped feeling human.
Simon Sinek famously said: "People don't buy what you do. They buy why you do it." SharedLife was built from a deeply human frustration — the feed we opened to feel closer to the people we love had become a wall of ads we never asked for.
"The goal is not to do business with everybody who needs what you have. The goal is to do business with people who believe what you believe."— Simon Sinek, Start With Why
We believe your memories, your milestones, and your family moments belong to you — not to an algorithm selling you things. SharedLife is built for people who believe their digital life should feel private, warm, and real.
Why people joined social media originally
To stay connected with friends and family. To share real moments. Not to be a data point in a $165 billion advertising machine.
What social media became
Research shows as few as 1 in 5 posts in a typical feed is actually from someone you know. The rest? Ads, suggested strangers, and viral content engineered to keep you scrolling — and spending.
What SharedLife gives you back
A private space where your feed is 100% your people. No ads. No algorithm deciding who deserves your attention. Just your family, your friends, your moments.
You are not the product here
SharedLife runs on subscriptions, not surveillance. Your data isn't sold to advertisers. Your privacy isn't a settings toggle buried six menus deep.
All the things you love about social media.
None of the things you hate.

Google Photos-style organisation for your shared memories. Create albums for holidays, milestones, or anyone special — without losing originals or creating duplicates.
Birthday Tracker
Never miss an important day again. Track birthdays across family, friends, and your sports club. Monthly views, upcoming reminders, and relationship categories keep life organised.
Date Night Picker Coming Soon
A Tinder-style swipe interface for choosing movies and date night ideas together. Both people swipe yes/no — and SharedLife reveals what you both said yes to. Finally, a decision you both made.

Bring your Facebook & Instagram history with you.
Years of memories shouldn't be held hostage by a platform you're leaving. We've made it simple to export everything and import it into SharedLife.
Export from Facebook
Go to Facebook Settings → Your Facebook Information → Download Your Information. Select photos, posts, and messages. Request your archive — Facebook emails you a download link.
Export from Instagram
In Instagram → Settings → Account → Download Data. Choose JSON format. Instagram sends you a link within 48 hours. Download and save your archive.
Import into SharedLife
Once you have access, use our guided Import Wizard to bring your photo libraries, albums, and key data into SharedLife. We'll organise them into Folders automatically.
Invite your people
Send a simple invite link to family and friends. They join in 60 seconds. You're all in a private, ad-free space together — and you can switch off your old accounts whenever you're ready.
Don't delete Facebook yet.
We recommend keeping your Facebook account active while you transition. Use SharedLife for new posts and invite friends across slowly — at your own pace. Most people find their close network joins within the first month. Then you can decide what to do with the old accounts.
Why people are ready to make the move
"I opened Facebook to see my sister's new baby photos and had to scroll past four ads and a sponsored post before I found a single friend. That was the moment I knew I was done."
"Our footy club has been sharing in a Facebook Group for years but everyone's sick of it. We want to own our space, not rent it from a company that profits off our conversations."
"I realised I was handing over years of family photos to a company that was using them to target me with ads. The idea that SharedLife is subscription-first, not ad-first, immediately made sense to me."
